What Is Virtual Physiotherapy?

Virtual Physiotherapy, also known as tele rehabilitation, is one-on-one online video conferencing. It eliminates the need for travel and connects you to a registered physiotherapist remotely via a screen (cell phone, tablet or computer with a webcam) in your home for the same, quality appointment you would expect in person.

During your telehealth session, your registered physiotherapist will conduct a medical history, and perform a detailed assessment through questioning, observations, tests and movements. We will diagnose your problem and create a treatment plan to help get you on the path to recovery. A combination of virtual and in-person visits may be recommended by your therapist.

Benefits of Online Physiotherapy

Is Virtual Physiotherapy Covered By Extended Health Care Plans?

Sessions are tax-free and covered by most extended health care benefits but it is recommended clients check their individual coverage through their insurance provider prior to the virtual appointment.

Important Announcement

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our Cumberland location, which will likely occur gradually until July 1st, 2024. After much consideration and evaluation, we have come to this difficult decision due to several reasons, most notably the challenges we have faced with staffing.

The decision to close our Cumberland location was not made lightly. We have explored various options to address the staffing issues, but unfortunately, we have not been able to find a sustainable solution that would allow us to continue operations at this location.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to all our clients who have trusted us with their care over the years. It has been a privilege to serve the Cumberland community, and we are truly grateful for your support and loyalty.

For our clients who still require physiotherapy services, we encourage you to visit our main location in Plantagenet, where our team remains committed to providing the highest quality care. We are also available to assist you in transferring your care to another clinic if needed.

Once again, we thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
